Choir students: bring work to choir to do, as it will be sectionals today.
Frontier Bank is currently looking for a high school student to fill a part time bank teller position in Rock Rapids. Hours would be Saturday mornings and during holiday and summer breaks. Please stop and see Jamie if you are interested.
Attention Speechies!: We will be having an informational meeting for large group speech in Mrs. Devitt’s room on Thursday, September 9th at 3:20. If you are unable to attend the meeting, please talk to Mrs. Devitt or Mrs. Groves prior to September 9th.
Central Lyon Marching Band T-shirts are available! Order forms are in the Elementary and HS Offices if you are interested. They are $11 and order forms with money are due Wednesday, September 8th by 3:00pm! Please make checks out to Central Lyon.
Cast lists for Grease are posted on the two bulletin boards in the main hallway and by the music hallway.
Softball players interested in playing in a fall ball league in Sioux City, please see Coach Jager. Games are on Sundays and begin on Sept. 12.
The National Honor Society will meet in Mrs. Groves room on Wednesday, September 8th at 7:45 AM.
Anyone who is interested in Basketball cheerleading please sign up in the office by Wednesday, September 8th. Please sign up even if you have already talked to Mrs. Groves or Mrs. Van Beek.
Picture Day with Life Touch will be on Wednesday, 9/8/10.
The PEO Star Scholarship is now available to Senior Girls in the Guidance Office.
STUDENTS! If you have artwork in the art room from last year, you will have until this Friday (Sept. 3rd) to get it out of the room or it will be discarded.
The Rock Rapids Soccer League needs more referees! If you are interested in making a little $$$, please call John at 472-4911 or Steph at 472-3620. Games are on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings.
PLEASE: We are asking all students as you go through the lunch line, please do not be using your cell phone. Cell phone usage while being served slows down the lunch line. Thank you.
